About the Event
In her own words: "May’s Boys opens in 1944. May Sheppard is preparing herself to visit war-ravaged Southampton the following day in search of her evacuee’s mother. May and eleven-year-old Cliff want to make their relationship formal by adoption but will May be able to trace Cliff’s mother, Lynette ? And will Lynette agree to let the son she hasn’t contacted in five years stay in the home he loves?"
We're delighted that Beryl will be joining us for a reading/signing session shortly after the launch of her novel.
