'He thinks me mad; he thinks me quite mad. Perhaps I am.'
Stolen Things by A.M Howell tells the story of Della, a middle-aged war widow who finds herself at the centre of a horrifying mystery. Who is the strange man who has entered her home, claiming it is his? And why has he left a baby in the house?
This is a dark, claustrophobic, and moving portrait of a woman who must decide how far she's willing to go to protect her child and her home.
A.M. Howell is an award-winning author of children’s historical mysteries. She has published seven children’s books and was the recipient of The East Anglian Book of the Year in 2020. She has also won the Mal Peet Children’s Award and received five-star reviews in The Times and Daily Telegraph.
