Whilst ticket sales are going well, we need your help in spreading the word, promoting the festival and of course buying some tickets. If you would like a poster to put up, or some take flyers or bookmarks then please let us know.

Writing Competition

One More Chapter

Cruise Ship Kid by Emma Swan is also the subject of a writing competition that is open to all kids between the ages of 7-13.

Simply read the book, and then write one more chapter set after the book and the story ends. It can be set immediately after, a couple of days later, or even a few months or years.

Using the characters and story from the book, simply continue the story in a way that shows imagination, creativity and of course your writing ability and use of language.

Pay attention to the length of the chapters in the book so try and keep your chapter length consistent.

All entries will be judged by myself and the wonderful Emma Swan, and prizes will be awarded to the top 2 entries in both the 7-10 and the 11-13 age group, and the winning entries will be shared on social media.

Entries are to be typed and emailed to andrew@diallanebooks.co.uk by no later than Friday 19th September upon the hour of noon.

The winning entries will be notified by email on Tuesday 30th September
