And THAT, book lovers... was 2024. An amazing and brilliant and challenging year on the high street and in retail, and we here at Ipswich's ONLY indie bookshop want to say the biggest thank you to each and every one of our amazing customers and friends and supporters for being on this crazy journey with us - we could not do this without you.

In other news ... I've extended the lease, so you've now got me for a minimum of another five years. You lucky lucky people.

We are now closed for the Christmas break and will re-open on the 2nd January 2025.

2025 DATES

We cannot wait to get our teeth into our 2025 book group selections. There are plenty of surprises to come, new books from some of our favourite authors and you can guarantee they will be coming to see us.

Make sure you take note of the adult book group dates and the kids group dates for the amazing youngsters.

January Book Group 

Saturday 18th January 5pm - 6.30pm

Join us as we get into the Jane Austen classic, Pride and Prejudice. We have some amazing editions for your to select from.

Kids Book Group 

Sunday 19th January 3pm

Join us as we talk all about Anna James brilliant book Pages & Co

 If you are part of another group, then whether there are 4 or 400 members, providng the books are ordered and paid for at the same time, if they are ordered from me then I'll do them at a 25% discount.
