Saturday 22nd June 5pm
On Saturday we welcome back the brilliant and hugely talented Ashley Hickson-Lovence as he joins us for book group for the second time.
This time, it's to discuss his first YA title - Wild East - which is a moving and powerful story told in verse, about friendship, self discovery and the struggles and difficulties of moving to a new school and city.
I've already read it and I absolutely loved it.
The book certainly packs a punch, and Ashley's craft is laid bare on every page.
There is still time to pop in to the shop to pick up a copy (£8.99) and come along for what will be a great book group.
ONJALI IS BACK
Sunday 23rd June 1pm - 3pm
Yes book lovers, I'm absolutely delighted that the one and only Onjali Rauf will be returning to Ipswich's ONLY indie bookshop this Sunday for her 4th visit!! She must love us as much as we love her.
The shop will open on Sunday from 11am - 3pm, and Onjali will be in da house from 1pm-3pm bringing her magic and warmth to as many of you that want to come and buy one of her books, get it signed, say hello, or grab a selfie.
Then at 3pm, I lock the door and we go straight into this months kids book group, where we shall be talking all about Onjali's latest title, the amazing The Letter with the Golden Stamp
And if you've never read one of Onjali's books, then you don't know what you're missing.
